This is part of my crossover continuity, part of which is my version of ADGTH, the one where Oliver from Oliver and Company is Charlie and Sasha's adoptive son. This is dedicated to all my friends, the American ones who celebrate it, on this wondrous Thanksgiving holiday. For those of you in other countries who don't celebrate it, the dedication still stands. Yes, I know that they are dogs and a cat. That is why this turkey is still completely raw. They act like Charlie and the gang sometimes did in the TV series. In this version, Timmy the puppy is Charlie and Sasha's biological son, and Flo is Charlie's sister, and I use the term husband here because Annabelle performed a marriage ceremony of sorts over them. Lastly, in this version, ADGTH 2 took place in 2014, while all that followed took place in 2015. Enjoy!

Thanksgiving at the Barkin Home
The Flea Bite Cafe was closed for the evening. All day, Charlie and Sasha had provided Thanksgiving lunches, while Sasha sang and entertained the crowd, as she sometimes did. Now, Charlie and Sasha, along with their children, including their daughters Annabelle the Younger, who was called "Annie" in every day talk to avoid confusion with Annabelle the angel, Lila, Katrina, their adoptive cat son Oliver, and their biological sons Romeo, Jericho and Timmy. Also present were Itchy and Bess, as well as Charlie's sister Flo, along with her pups, who had all taken mortal form, as they were now angels, for awhile in order to enjoy the feast. To everyone's delight, Charlie and Sasha brought in a rather large, raw turkey that he and Itchy had gotten from the market.
"Dinner is here, everyone," Charlie announced proudly, setting the turkey down.
Suddenly, without warning, the turkey was made large enough for all of them. Flo, knowing that it wouldn't have been enough for all of them, had used her angelic powers to do this. Sasha looked over her sons and daughters, their eyes all wide with amazement, for a long moment. Though still young, they were growing every day, getting ever closer to their full adult size. She smiled at Oliver, remembering how she and Charlie had saved him awhile back from an immensely abusive adopted upbringing at the paws of Belladonna.
"Too bad Annabelle couldn't be here," Oliver said.
Sasha smiled.
"She's with her family right now, Oliver. It is Thanksgiving after all. I am sure that we'll see her soon enough," she said.
Oliver nodded. Charlie looked at him.
"I am sure that she's already put a blessing over us," he added.
He then turned to the others.
"Well, who's hungry?" he asked.
His sons and daughters all exclaimed in excitement. For a moment, Itchy looked at him. Charlie had changed considerably since becoming a husband and father. The more negative part of him was practically gone. Rather, in its place, was a dog who was devoted to his family.
"Well, then, let's eat," Charlie said.
He then took the first bite of the turkey. Sasha, the kids, Itchy and Bess followed afterward. Sometime later, there was nothing left but a pile of bones that would continue to be chewed by the pups until they were gnawed stubs. After dinner, Charlie took the time to play with his kids, nephews and nieces, going to the ground and allowing them to tug at his ears and tail, enjoying it just as much as them. Sasha looked to Heaven.
"Thank you, Annabelle," she whispered, glad that the pink whippet angel had allowed Charlie to come back to earth.
Of course, Annabelle knew of this, and would continue to bless them. Meanwhile, at the home of David and his family, that number including visiting relatives, they too were gathered around the table, loaded with turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, pies, cakes and more. All eyes looked at the family matriarch, David's paternal grandmother, to say grace before their meal began. It was none other than Anne-Marie, now having reached old age. Earlier this year, she had been reunited with Charlie after all these decades, seventy-six years to be exact. She began saying grace. After asking for blessings on her family, she said one more thing.
"And bless Charlie Barkin and all those close to him..." she said.
After saying "amen", their Thanksgiving meal began too.
